St. Anne Outreach
Serving the Needs of Our Community for 35 Years
How We Help
Our primary mission is to provide food and clothing to those in great need or in emergency situations. Very limited financial assistance for utilities, rent and prescription costs may also be provided, dependent upon the availability of funds. Our secondary mission is to provide the following items when donated: items for the care of infants, linens and blankets, fans, items for elderly care, toiletries, small household items and school supplies.
Your donations are very much appreciated! In 2017, we had 4,943 visits to our Outreach Center – nearly 4,400 of those visits were to receive groceries. This past year, St. Anne Community Outreach was able to give food to 11,709 of our neighbors, providing just under 250,000 meals. Our financial assistance programs have helped to prevent 219 utility shutoffs, 116 evictions and provided life-saving medicines to 42 families.
In 2017, St. Anne Community Outreach also helped 300 families restore household items after family crisis, fire or other tragedies. Over 900 families received much-needed hygiene products. In addition, financial contributions helped Outreach supply families with Ensure, adult depends, air mattresses, work boots and nonslip shoes.

We have volunteers from many of the Catholic Churches in the Columbus Deanery. Our volunteers range from youth ages 12 and up to retired couples – there are plenty of opportunities to get involved! No special training is needed to volunteer; we will work with you to find what role will be rewarding for you. Youth must review and sign our Youth Volunteer Guidelines before volunteering at Outreach. Most of our volunteers work one or two days Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. However, we have opportunities on afternoons, weekends and evenings – just let us know when you are available!
