CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
MINISTRY COORDINATOR: 10:30 AM CATHEY TURNER
Children Liturgy Ministers present the Gospel readings to children, ages 4 yrs.-1st grade, at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The adult volunteer reads the Word from a child-friendly version of the Bible that is provided. We then lead an age-appropriate discussion, which can include a small activity, or coloring page. Your commitment would be to volunteer at least one Mass per month, a volunteer background check, and VIRTUS training. Thank you so much for giving of your time and talent. The children love and receive so much from hearing the Gospel readings on a child’s level.
COFFEE & DONUTS
MINISTRY LEADER: BALA & LAXMI YADLAPALLI
Volunteers in this ministry set up Visitation Hall, make coffee before Mass, serve coffee and donuts after Mass, and then clean-up. Coffee and donuts are served after the first two Masses on Sundays with the exception of the third Sunday of each month. We welcome anyone, age 16 and older, with a willing spirit and a desire to give back for all the blessings one has received.

All members must be approved by the pastor and the Bishop. Initial training is done with follow-up as needed. Ministers sign up to serve at one or two Masses per month.
GREETERS MINISTRY
The Greeters Ministry is a ministry of hospitality in which greeters welcome parishioners and visitors at all Masses. A greeter is most likely the first person a person sees as they enter the doors of the church. The qualifications required to be a greeter are simple: Smile and be friendly; Smile and be warm; Smile and be helpful. Greeters are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to Mass and stay 15 minutes after to greet and answer questions. They are scheduled to serve at the Mass of their choice at least one weekend a month.
