ALTAR SOCIETY
MINISTRY LEADERS: KIMBERLY KAUP
If you are available to meet weekly for only one month of Saturdays, for no more than 60 to 90 minutes, and aren't afraid of a little cleaning, Altar Society is looking for you! Team members generally meet on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. A team of three to four members helps prepare the chapel and sanctuary for Masses. Responsibilities include light dusting, filling candles with oil, changing altar cloths, if necessary, and cleaning the windows in the Training Room. This ministry is open to all registered parishioners. Come help make our liturgy a beautiful experience!

COFFEE & DONUTS (Not Currently Meeting)
MINISTRY LEADER: BALA & LAXMI YADLAPALLI
This ministry provides a place for parishioners to meet and visit after Mass and during the time their kids are in Sunday School. Volunteers in this ministry set up Visitation Hall, make coffee before Mass, serve coffee and donuts after Mass, and then clean-up. Coffee and donuts are served after the 8 and 10:30 a.m. Masses on Sundays with the exception of the third Sunday of each month. We welcome anyone, age 16 and older, with a willing spirit and a desire to give back for all the blessings one has received. This ministry provides a great service hour opportunity for the youth! Adult volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained.
DEAR FRIEND
MINISTRY COORDINATOR: FRENNY ANTONY
Dear Friend is a correspondence ministry. Members are partnered up with people who are either homebound or in a nursing home with little or no contact with the outside world. On at least a monthly basis, members write letters and cards to their “friends” without expecting a reply.
GREETERS MINISTRY

The Greeters Ministry is a ministry of hospitality in which greeters welcome parishioners and visitors at all Masses. A greeter is most likely the first person a person sees as they enter the doors of the church. The qualifications required to be a greeter are simple: Smile and be friendly; Smile and be warm; Smile and be helpful. Greeters are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to Mass and stay 15 minutes after to greet and answer questions. They are scheduled to serve at the Mass of their choice at least one weekend a month. Training is provided. Adult volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained.
GRIEF SUPPORT MINISTRY

This support ministry reaches out to those who have experienced a loss through death or tragedy.
GROUNDS BEAUTIFICATION
The Grounds Beautification Ministry works to continue to enhance the beauty of our campus. Members of this ministry will work with the Parish Council Grounds Subcommittee to determine projects that need to be completed. These could be landscaping, painting, carpentry, etc. If you enjoy working with your hands, this ministry is for you! Adult volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained.

A group of health care professionals working together in a health-related ministry for St. Anne Church, with a focus on wellness education. Blood pressure screenings are offered weekly with three shifts available: Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Anyone in the medical field is welcome to join! Volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained.

A ministry which generally provides transportation support to parishioners who cannot drive themselves. Rides offered are, for the most part, to Mass. Additional help is also applied for medical appointments, trips to the pharmacy or local grocery shopping. Our purpose is to be a "Good Samaritan." This ministry is for anyone with a valid driver’s license, safe driving record and adequate transportation. Volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained.

This ministry provides respectful handling and cleaning of the Mass linens. If you are willing to give of your time in reverence and commitment to the handling and cleaning of these linens that have come into contact with the body and blood of Christ, this is the ministry for you.

NOTRE DAME SHOP
MINISTRY LEADER: BECKY HILDERBRAND
The Notre Dame Shop sells Catholic gifts and books before and after weekend Masses. Our little shop is well-known and visited by other parishioners. Volunteers commit to working the shop one shift every four to six weeks around their preferred Mass. Registered adults who enjoy helping people and who can handle money are invited to volunteer. VIRTUS training is required.
NURSERY CARE (Currently Unavailable)
Our parish's nursery volunteers provide a safe and happy environment for children, ages 6 months to 3 years, whose parents are attending Mass on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Adults interested in giving their time and talent to the Nursery Care ministry must complete a background check and VIRTUS training. Volunteers serve about once every four to six weeks. Time required is 20 minutes before Mass to set up and greet children, Mass time and then a few minutes afterwards to tidy up the nursery.
OUTREACH

A ministry in which the Church helps those in need of food, clothing or financial assistance. Duties include dividing and packaging food, sorting clothing, interviewing and assisting clients, answering the phone, entering data on a computer and organizing and filing papers. Anyone who is willing to work on a team and be understanding and compassionate to those in need, is welcome. Time commitment is up to the volunteer. The Outreach Center is open Mon –Thurs from 8:30 AM to 12 noon, Tues 8:30 am – 4:00 pm and the third weekend of the month around Mass times. Training done on an individual basis. Adult volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained.

A group of volunteers who get together 3-5 times per year in the parish office to assist the parish staff with large mailings. Volunteers affix address labels, stuff, and seal envelopes for parish bulk mailings. Time requirement is about 2-3 hours. Training is done on an individual basis.

This ministry is part of the Chaplain's Program under the direction of Rev. Neil Richardson, but is carried out by Sr. Pat, a member of St. Anne Parish. There are many ways in which you can assist, such as baking, writing notes, collecting hygiene items in travel size, providing soft covered new and used books and much more.

As Catholic Christians, we must be advocates for life at every stage. This ministry will proved support and information for pro-life organizations in the area.
RACHEL'S VINEYARD RETREAT

Healing after an abortion is provided through this interdenominational healing weekend retreat experience, offered each November in this area. It is open to any woman or man who has suffered because of an abortion. There are many ways to assist with this ministry and your help will be greatly appreciated.

This ecumenical group coordinates support for and awareness of Right to Life issues, such as the March for Life in January and a Life Chain in October. The focus is on education. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Monday at 7 p.m. at the Burger King on Wynnton Road (near AFLAC). Adults and teens are welcome. A commitment to peaceful, prayerful education about life issues is desired.

If you love to sew, embroider, cross stitch, crochet, and/or knit, this ministry is for you. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 9 A.M.-12 P.M. in the Meeting Room. They make Baptismal bibs, purificators, and other altar linens as needed, baby blankets for Project Linus and other charities. Anyone who loves to sew and enjoys good fellowship is welcome.
STRONG FOR LIFE! STRENGTH EXERCISE FOR OLDER ADULTS (Not Currently Meeting)

This strength/flexibility improvement program is tailored for middle-aged and older adults but can be great for others wanting to begin strength exercise. It trains and educates people to maintain or improve their strength for an active, independent life. It benefits multiple body systems, improves body composition/metabolism, and confidence. A doctor's approval form is needed and may be picked up on your first day of class. It is offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:45-2:30 PM.
TAI CHI (Not Currently Meeting)

This exercise program, led by a certified volunteer, can promote relaxation, help improve balance and coordination, physical and mental well-being, and can relieve stress. Many movements can be done while sitting, so all adults are invited. It is offered on Monday from 1:00-1:45 PM. No MD approval is required, but participants must sign a release.
THYME & TALENT

This group prepares and/or serves meals or refreshments for small parish functions. Volunteers can set-up and decorate for functions, prepare and serve the meal, and/or clean up after the function. Members work together in teams. The time commitment is usually a few hours a month, depending on the church‘s calendar. Cooking experience is an asset, but not necessary. Adult volunteers must be VIRTUS-trained.

“Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit…therefore, glorify God in your body.” (1Corinthians 3:16; 19-20)
Each Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the St. Cecelia Room, we practice this all-inclusive exercise program of aerobic, strength, stability, flexibility and balance. We follow a yoga routine at the gentle level. A time of prayer begins the class and ends with relaxed meditation as we quiet ourselves and tune out the world and tune into God. If you want to become not only physically healthy but spiritually healthy than come join us. You will need a yoga mat, blocks, blanket and a strap.

St. Anne Catholic Church's Middle School Youth Group is open to all 6th through 8th graders who are Catholic or interested in learning about the Catholic faith. We use Edge and LifeTeen, Catholic middle school school youth ministry programs, to provide a safe, fun place for youth to experience fellowship, get answers to questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. The youth typically meet on the second and fourth Sundays, September through May from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Food is provided. Note: Youth Group volunteers over age 18 need VIRTUS training and a background check.
ZUMBA! GOLD (Not Currently Meeting)

Zumba Gold is a dance class that will tone and sculpt the body. Its purpose is to make exercise, a necessary evil, fun. It raises the heart rate without you even realizing its exercise. All students are welcome, as long as they wear appropriate exercise shoes, are breathing and walking with minimal assistance. We have several regulars who sit the entire class, and still get a workout. Yes, it’s possible! The class meets Wednesdays from 1-1:45 PM in Visitation Hall; no classes during Holy Week/summer months.
