Children's Liturgy of the Word

Children's Liturgy of the Word is a ministry to our young children, between the ages of 4 years and 1st grade. It is available during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. After the opening prayer, these children are escorted out to the meeting room where volunteers read and discuss God’s Word at a child’s level. They are then escorted back to Mass following the Prayers of the Faithful.

Adults and high school students are welcome to volunteer. Each volunteer only teaches once a month; total time commitment is about 30 minutes per month. All materials are provided. No experience is necessary. Volunteers over the age of 18 are required to have VIRTUS training and a background check performed.
