CURSILLO
MINISTRY LEADERS: BOB SPANO & LOUIE ROBINSON
The purpose of the Cursillo Movement is to make Christian community possible in neighborhoods, parishes, work situations, and other places where people live the greater part of their lives. This evangelation ministry is available to adults in good standing with the Chruch. Begin by attending a three-day weekend program, held around the Diocese of Savannah several times each year. Follow-up meetings are held monthly, with small weekly groups meeting at various locations.

ELIJAH CUP
MINISTRY LEADERS: BEN & ANN STAHL
The purpose of this ministry is to have families spend time in prayer for an increase of vocations. The Elijah Cup, a consecrated chalice, provides a focal point for prayer. It's an especially powerful symbol for families with children. Families register to pick up the cup at the end of 5:30 p.m. Saturday Vigil Mass, take it home for one week and pray together daily for vocations. The following Saturday, the Elijah Cup is returned to Church at the 5:30 p.m. Mass to be picked up by the next registered family.

SCRIPTURE STUDY
MINISTRY LEADER: BERRIEN ZETTLER
A program of Bible study for adults over 16 is given periodically (typically three courses) during the year, usually held in the Meeting Room on Wednesdays, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Selected books from the Bible are discussed in blocks of approximately 10 weeks. Lessons, based on the Little Rock Scripture Study series, will cover both the Old and New Testaments with an emphasis on deepening our understanding of the Word of God, enriching prayer life and expanding our participation as members of the Mystical Body of Christ. Each lesson will include prayer, personal study and weekly small group sharing. Watch the bulletin for dates and other specifics of each study series. If you are interested in learning more about the Bible, you are welcome.
