It helps people discover and fulfill their personal vocations and promoted the creation of small groups who support each other to live by the Gospel teachings. The program is available to adults in good standing with the Church. Begin by attending a three-day weekend program (held separately for men and women), conducted at locations around the Diocese several times a year. Then, attend follow-up meetings at various locations throughout the Columbus deanery.
MINISTRY LEADERS: BEN & ANN STAHL
The purpose of this ministry is to have families spend time in prayer for an increase of vocations. The Elijah Cup, a consecrated chalice, provides a focal point for prayer. It's an especially powerful symbol for families with children. Families register to pick up the cup at the end of a 10:30 a.m. Mass, take it home for one week and pray together daily for vocations. The following Sunday, the Elijah Cup is returned to Church at the 10:30 a.m. Mass to be picked up by the next registered family.
